The UCLA are giving the fans a run for their money in the LA Bowl. Their offense is leaving a mark on the game and is putting them in the front. Around the third quarter with 3:03 minutes left, UCLA’s WR Michaell Sturdivant completed a 39-yard catch.

The stunning catch put UCLA on the Boise State five-yard line and gave them an advantage over their opposition. It was a terrific display of agility and reflexes from the young WR as he completed the pass. The game in itself was keenly fought as the Bruins gained dominance.

The LA Bowl marked the season opener between two outstanding teams. Both the UCLA and the Broncos came with a surge of confidence going into this game. The Bruins were playing catchup till halftime and were indeed trailing by 9 points. During the half-time, it looked as if the Boise State Broncos might eke out a win against the Bruins. Then came the third big quarter that put UCLA in front. UCLA scored heavily and got 21 points in the quarter itself. The starting QB Colin Schlee also made an impact with his 50-yard run!

The quarterback change with Ethan Garbers coming into the post-halftime session turned things around for the Bruins. Garbers quickly got into the thick of things as he threw a TD within moments of his arrival. From then on, UCLA just made giant strides and gave no chance to the reeling Boise State. In the end, UCLA dominated their counterparts with a 35-22 scoreline.
