On the 14th June episode of the Zero 2 Sixty podcast, Matt McChesney invited former Colorado Buffaloes’ coach, Gary Barnett, and he sure had a song of praise to sing for Travis Hunter, who’s currently a favorite on the team. The veteran coach even described Hunter as being unlike any other athletes he’s ever seen.

As per Barnett, Hunter is “truly a great player.” He further added to his excellence and said, “He’s the best athlete I’ve ever seen.” McChesney followed up with a question to the former coach and asked him if he’d seen anybody like Travis Hunter before. To which, Barnett replied by saying, “No, I don’t think so, man. I don’t think so. Last year, it was going to come down on the guys up front on both sides of the ball and it looks to me, it’s going to be the same test this year.” Thus, he concluded by emphasizing his importance in the Buffaloes’ team and how he will be vital for this season.
