The prince of the Colorado Buffaloes is being predicted to be one of the best players in the new upcoming EA College Football 25 game, and the fans couldn’t be more excited. With his specialty being the duality of cornerback as well as wide receiver, experts believe that he might just overtake Andrew Luck’s stats in the previous version of the game.
Travis Hunter, the cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes, will see new heights in his career due to the value he’s been getting from the launch of the game. It was earlier revealed in the release of the deluxe edition of the game where he was one of the several players whose jerseys could be seen. On the 17th May episode of the On3 show, Phillip Dukes joined the show to discuss the wide spectrum of information that has been coming in about the new EA Sports College Football game that has got the world of football in a frenzy. Later, the host asked Dukes who he thought could replace Andrew Luck as one of the few players in the game with a 99 overall rating, to which, Dukes had a response at the ready.

Duke talked about the possibility of a player with a 99 overall in the game and the name that popped up first in his mind was Travis Hunter. Highlighting Hunter’s offensive abilities, he said, “I think you gotta go with Travis Hunter. Because you have to fill out his attributes on the offense as well. So even if he is not a 99 corner, let’s say he is a 96 corner and a 92 receiver, he will fill out a lot of attributes. Just with the sheer amount of attributes that you kind of have to set a value for, for a player like Travis Hunter, I think he’s gotta be a 99.”
Thus, Duke laid heavy stress on Hunter’s talents to be able to play both positions brilliantly, which sets him apart from the other prospects in the NCAA. With all that said, here are Quinn Ewers’s thoughts on who the 99 player should be and it’s none other than Coach Prime’s prized player.

Quinn Ewers speaks on Travis Hunter’s 99 rating
Quinn Ewers, the quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, is one of the three players who are on the cover of the game. Though it’s such a huge achievement on its own, he doesn’t think he will be the top-rated player in the game. Additionally, Ewers talked about who he thought a 99 player could be and the name of Travis Hunter was uttered without hesitation yet again.
Texas QB Quinn Ewers with some high praise for Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter:
“I’m not sure if they’re going to put anyone at 99, but if they do I think he’ll be the closest to it.
His overall ability on offense, defense, and special teams… he can do it all.”

Ewers emphasized Hunter’s abilities as a dominant force on all ends. He said, “I’m not sure if they’re going to put anyone at 99, but if they do I think he’ll be the closest to it. His overall ability on offense, defense, and special teams, he can do it all.” While Ewers is widely considered to be the best QB in the country, he had no reservations about naming Hunter as the best in the game, which just goes on to show how influential Hunter’s abilities are in the league now as he awaits the onset of the upcoming season.
