The explosive beginning of Warren Sapp’s career with the Colorado Buffaloes was marked with an impressive celebration of the 4th of July occasion. The Hall of Famer was seen enjoying himself as the skies erupted in beautiful colors and enveloped the aura around the entirety of Boulder.

Deion Sanders recently brought Warren Sapp, the Hall of Famer, to the Colorado Buffaloes. He was hired as a graduate assistant and interestingly enough, is also enrolled in classes at the university. A longtime friend of Deion’s, both Sapp and Deion set the standards for defense back in their era and now both HoF’s are set to lead the Buffaloes to glory. The upcoming season is about to be a tough one for the Buffs but for now, they’re celebrating the spirit of 4th July mightily and with great pomp.

On 5th July, Sapp took to his Instagram account to share the marvelous video of the 4th of July fireworks taking over the night in Colorado. A festival that is always marked with this spectacle of lights was enough to wow the hard-shelled, “Quarterback- Killa”, as the fans used to call him back in the day.

Sapp captioned his video with, “About last night!! #SappNotFishing @gotti_real1 #DontPlayAboutThe4th” Though he wasn’t spotted with any other Colorado Buffaloes’ player or even Coach Prime, the Buccaneers’ legend was seen having a good celebratory time. With all that said, here’s a look at how Deion Sanders welcomed Sapp to the Colorado team, which was a lot sparklier than the fireworks show.

Though the former defensive tackle has never dipped his feet into the pool of coaching, he had always been looking for an opportunity to train future talents and that’s exactly what Deion gave him. It was back in November itself that Deion announced Sapp’s arrival to Colorado and added yet another great staff member to the squad, which just keeps on growing.

Obviously, the friendship of Deion and Sapp played a huge role in his hiring and this is what the HC had to say about Sapp’s signing. Deion said, “I’m excited about coach Sapp. He’s a dear friend that I love to life. He’s going to be invaluable with what he brings to the table.” Though the legend will be working for an undermining salary of $12,500 per month, he recently revealed that he genuinely wanted to work under Deion, and because he will be beginning his coaching career from scratch. Thus, while the nation celebrates Independence Day dearly, Sapp is celebrating the mark of his new job in the football world, and this time, it will be from the sidelines.
