The Colorado Buffaloes have overcome the storm of the transfer season. They have lost some and gained some but nothing could prevent them from pouncing back into action. The latest video posted by Well Off Media on YouTube shows Deion Sanders’ program in its original form as their newly made roster sweats it off on the field.

Interestingly, the old Buffs, like Colorado’s two-way phenom, Travis Hunter, seem to be the leading man. As he indulges in power flex, the new recruits follow him. What makes Hunter so special that the new Buffs want to become like him one day?

As the camera pans towards the left, DJ McKinney is seen doing the same workout, trying his level best to match up to Hunter’s speed of battling ropes. The hallmarks of Hunter’s defense

On the field, Hunter is one of a kind. His USP is brilliant on both sides of the ball. Even though this dual threat often comes off as risky, Hunter warrants an exception. As far as the defense side is concerned, he is considered to be one of the most talented cornerbacks in the country. Courtesy goes to him being a freak athletically paired with speed, length and agility that make him a nightmare in man coverage.

Besides, his innate ability to track and play the ball makes him unique, as if he were a receiver playing cornerback. Apart from his physical strength, he has an impressive strength of mind. Even after suffering from a lacerated liver, he ensured to leap back into action. Hunter ensures he carries his gridiron discipline in his day-to-day life as well. As Coach Prime once revealed, “You talk about the kindest, nicest kid. No smoking. No drinking. All he wants to do is spend time with his girlfriend and fish and put on that onesie.”

It is good to see that the Buffs’ new recruits hold Travis Hunter on a pedestal and consider him to be the benchmark of success on the gridiron. It has just started with the physical workouts, it is now to be seen how the two-way phenom inspires the players with his on-field strategies. Meanwhile, will the new strength staff, Maurice Sims and company, be able to replace the Marine corps?
