The 2024 season hasn’t officially started yet and the NFL Draft future for the Colorado prodigy is already making the headlines. Travis Hunter is gradually becoming the face of college football this year, which is leading to strong speculations about his NFL career, supposedly against the wishes of Deion Sanders.
Travis Hunter is both the WR and the cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes, which sets him apart from other athletes in the league. Hunter is set to be a hot commodity for NFL teams next year but he and Deion might have a conflict of interest seeing as how the Buffs’ player chose the New England Patriots in Madden 25, which lies outside of the 6 teams that the HC has picked out for both him and Shedeur.

Even though the Patriots are predicted to have the top-5 pick in next year’s Draft, the team doesn’t fall under the 6 that Deion picked out for Shedeur and Travis. As per Coach Prime, the 6 teams that he’d want his stars to go to are- the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Commanders, the Baltimore Ravens, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Except for the Eagles, Deion has played for the other 5 teams in the entirety of his NFL career. But if we were to look at a recent prediction from Athlon Sports, they would choose the Los Angeles Rams for Hunter, and here’s why.

Travis Hunter has been standing on newfound fame ever since being on the cover of the upcoming EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game. This, among other reasons like his gameplay, is the reason his name is generating excitement like no other, even beating out the likes of Carson Beck and Shedeur Sanders. Thus, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the LA Rams would want to bring Hunter’s versatility onboard to enhance the performance of the squad.
As per Luke Schlumpberger, a sports reporter, Hunter could be a “fantastic fit” for the Rams since he could be a great addition to a roster that already includes Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Additionally, he wrote, “Hunter would give the Rams an additional outside speed threat that they could also utilize as a weapon on special teams.” Thus, this season is set to be the most important one of Hunter’s career since he’ll have to prove that he’s worth all the hype that surrounds his name already for the NFL Draft.
