Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes are strategizing to bounce back after a lackluster 2023 campaign. Despite a promising 3-0 start, Colorado’s season took a nosedive, culminating in a dismal 4-8 record, with just one win in their final nine games.

While there was a slight improvement from 2022, the overall performance left much to be desired. Now, Coach Prime is revamping the roster and gearing up for the upcoming season with renewed determination. However, not all players seem to be cooperating.

The Sanders household has made the decision to extend their tenure with the Colorado Buffaloes for another season. Shedeur Sanders, the standout quarterback, along with his brother Shilo, have opted to remain in college instead of pursuing the 2024 NFL Draft. Coach Prime has incorporated rigorous training sessions to prepare the young athletes at Colorado for the upcoming season. In a recent video released on YouTube by “Well Of Media” the players are seen caught up in rigorous training, mastering the sequence of right, right, left, right in their drill distinguishing between avoiding and committing jumping offsides. During the drill, Shedeur is seen slacking a couple of times.

Two-way star Travis Hunter is seen visibly irritated with Shedeur’s inability to follow the drill effectively, as “You’re lagging,” echoes in the background. Cornerback Cormani McClain is called out as well for being unable to cope with the sequence. The Colorado player’s inability to keep up with the practice evokes frustration amongst the coaching staff as well, with Deion Sanders disciplining Shedeur after he is called out for the second time.

“Get out,” yells Coach Prime, asking Shedeur to start over again. Deion Sanders is leaving no stone unturned this offseason when it comes to preparing his players for the upcoming season, which includes involving special trainers and training methods.

The Champion Center practice field welcomed some distinguished visitors recently: members of the United States Marine Corps joined the Colorado Buffaloes for a rigorous session, led by Coach Prime. “Well Off Media” documented the entire demanding workout. While some Buffs pushed themselves, others relied on their teammates for support, reminiscent of wounded soldiers being carried off the battlefield. This session, led by Deion Sanders and his staff, surpassed previous ‘Rocky’ style mountain hikes in the snow, serving as an advanced team bonding exercise.

For the entire Buffs team, it proved to be a true test of strength and resilience. Travis Hunter, the Paul Hornung Award winner, exhibited boundless energy, traversing the field through crawling, bear walking, and running. Shedeur Sanders, CU’s offensive leader, appeared poised to tap into his second wind. Notably, five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton maintained a steady pace, hauling boxes of ammo across the field, showcasing his strength and commitment to the team.
