Let’s take you away from all the trash-talking and pressure of the 2024 season, cause love is in the air. As we all know, Travis Hunter is now engaged to his fiancé, Leanna Lenee, and today, on the 18th of July, Lenee took to Instagram to share something special. She had sent one of her close friends an invitation to become her bridesmaid at the wedding. The invite which was beautifully placed inside a white box had a photograph of Hunter and Lenee together, a passport, a letter, and a bottle of wine.

The lucky friend also shared the invite on her story. “omfg y’all I literally been cutting up all morning. I love my girl sm,” she wrote. Of course, anyone would be on Cloud 9 after getting such a classy invite. However, what fans would love to know is “When is the wedding?” Now Lenee had hidden the date from her story, but her friend definitely forgot. The wedding is set to take place on May 24th, 2025, just a few more months away.

Who knew that a relationship that started way back in college would blossom into something like this? A 2-way star and breakout athlete for CU and now a married man, Travis Hunter, sure has come a long back. Even if we solely focus on Lenee herself, she has been supportive throughout Hunter’s journey. The entire wedding speculation started back on July 4th. When both Hunter and Lenee were spotted on an exotic adventure to Hawaii.

Lenee posted some amazing pictures showing the blue waves and golden sunset on her Instagram from her Hawaii trip with Hunter. However, out of all the pictures, one stood out with the caption “me + u”. Now, here’s where the fun began. A fan was quick to comment, “Looks like she’s slimming down for that wedding.” And surprise surprise, Lenee replied back with “U get it bahaha.” That is how the entire saga began. Now fans know that it was back on July 4th when Travis popped the question to Lenee.

With the wedding dates out, and the bridesmaid selected, it looks like it will be a happy year for Hunter and Lenee. Also, with the 2024 season around the corner, if the Buffs managed to set a record this year, then I can safely say that the happiness would be double for Travis Hunter.
