May 18th was a special day for the Sanders family as Deion Sanders’ daughter, Deiondra, hosted a gender reveal party for her baby with rapper Jacquees. While Deion Sanders and his children with Pilar Sanders were absent, the party was still a success. Many thought Shilo or Shedeur Sanders would come to the party to be supportive uncles, but they couldn’t make it as they were busy celebrating their two-way star, Travis Hunter.

However, the party was not dampened as Deion Sanders Jr. stepped up to the occasion, fulfilling his uncle’s duties with enthusiasm. He even filmed certain heartwarming moments and shared updates from the party to show his support for his sister. But Deion Sanders Jr. isn’t the only new uncle in town! Jacquees’ best friend, NBA star Trae Young, is also excited to be an “uncle” to the baby boy.

Dad-to-be Jacquees celebrates his excitement with Trae Young

Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees have been sharing their excitement about their upcoming baby boy with their fans through numerous posts and updates. At the gender reveal party, Jacquees pushed down on a TNT pump, and blue smoke filled the air, signaling the arrival of a baby boy. The couple as well as their online supporters rejoiced at the news. Jacquees even expressed his gratitude and joy on social media, stating, “WE ARE HAVING A LIL BABY BOY THANK YOU JESUS! GOD IS GOOD!!!! 🙏🏾💙👶🏾😎🥹” 

The post garnered a flood of well-wishes, including a noteworthy comment from Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young, who enthusiastically declared, “Ready to meet my nephew.”

Jacquees even responded with a heart of approval for his basketball bro. The R&B singer and Young have developed a close friendship over the years, with Young often showing support for Jacquees’ music. He even went backstage to cheer him on during Jacquees’ “Sincerely For You” concert tour in Atlanta.

Their bond is now deepening as Young embraces his role as an uncle to Jacquees and Deiondra’s child. It looks like the Sanders family is getting bigger with this happy news. 

Deion Sanders’ family is growing with Jacquees’ support system

Jacquees is now the happiest man on earth as he had been rooting for “team boy” and couldn’t contain his excitement when the blue smoke confirmed it. In the moment, he even briefly forgot about his partner Deiondra, celebrating with pure joy. Not only was Deion Sanders Jr. present as a supportive uncle, but Jacquees’ mother Rosie Demetria Thompson, and Deion Sanders’ ex-wife, Carolyn Chambers, also attended the celebration. 

It looks like Jacquees clearly has a strong support system, both personally and professionally. Earlier it was Trae Young’s enthusiastically giving a thumbs up for his new “uncle” duties. Now Grandma Thompson is ready for her duties. She even expressed her joy for her son, stating, “My favorite guy is having a boyyy.”

Though Deion Sanders and his NFL family were absent, Jacquees brought together his own circle of loved ones to share in the excitement.
