Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders is one of the great finds of the season. Coach Prime’s son has reigned supreme amongst the different QBs and is having a great time in the NCAA league. The 21-year-old has performed exceedingly well to earn an NFL draft in the next year. The year 2023 has been all about how the young Turk has gone about his business, causing mayhem with his touchdowns and rushing yards.
The youngster seems to be writing a fable of his own, much like his father Deion Sanders who owned the NFL during the helm of his career. As per his son is concerned, he’s making a strong case for football’s big league. Talented beyond measure and a career that promises a lot, Shedeur is still taking baby steps in the NFL world. Several teams would be on the lookout for CU Buffs sensation as they look to shake things up in the 2024 NFL season. Given the game ability and the temperament the young QB possesses, he is a hot pick for some big teams in the NFL arena.

Shedeur Sanders is destined for greatness. Following in the footsteps of his father, the youngster is writing his own story in the football arena. The young rookie player has already acquired a stalwart status in the NCAA league and must go on to achieve great things in the NFL career. While the NFL draft might be a certainty, there are 5 teams that will look to make Sanders one of their own in the coming NFL season.
Atlanta Falcons
The team has a special connection with the Sanders family. This was the side that recruited a young Deion Sanders back in 1989 and will look to acquire another Sanders. The youngster also looks forward to joining the Falcons given the close bonding of his father with the team. Moreover, their current QB Desmond Ridder is having a tough time with the time and they’re looking for someone with better gameplay.
New York Jets
Another team that comes to mind is the New York Jets. Their hapless season is going nowhere after a season-ending injury to Aaron Rodgers. Moreover, the replacement in the form of Zach Wilson hasn’t done well to the team’s chances. Therefore, the side is desperately looking for a potent playmaker to help them get back to winning ways.
Shedeur could well be the missing piece in the puzzle and can resolve the dilemma for the team. While Shedeur might not be a starting QB next year with Rodgers taking the responsibility, he can still be used as a backup.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings are one of the best teams going forward this year and have Kirk Cousins at their disposal. However, there’s a big lingering question for Cousins. The star player turns 36 next year and the side would look for a fresh player. Moreover, Cousins comes with several injuries, and his availability could become an issue next year.
Therefore, playing a young Shedeur would the team a world of good and finally break their playoffs jinx. Sanders can bring some new energy into the team and moves quickly off the blocks, helping the side make better strategies.
New England Patriots
Everyone knows what’s happening at the New England Patriots. They’re having one of the worst seasons currently and are looking half the side they were in the Tom Brady era. The HC seems hopeless as he looks for answers and once again Shedeur can provide the shining light.
He’s a player who loves playing in the big shoes and the Patriots just present the ideal opportunity for the youngster. Moreover, their current signings don’t seem to have that juice and have regressed after sporadic appearances.
Los Angeles Rams
Since the last two seasons, the LA Rams have been there and thereabouts in their quest for the SB title, and hence they need a major shakeup. While the offense isn’t the only issue they have at hand currently, the Rams would benefit from a new QB in their ranks.

My observation: Shedeur Sanders’ should wait for one more season
These are the 5 prospective teams that Shedeur can target for the next year. The big question looms if he gets an NFL draft. The draft might just come along given the stunning performances the player has had this season.
Personally, I reckon Shedeur should wait for one more season since he goes on to move into the NFL. He still has certain areas for improvement and could hone his skills at the Buffs. I think that playing one more season at the Boulder can help Shedeur analyze his strengths, and tweak out his weaknesses. Thereafter, the QB can go as a much better player for the NFL drats.
