Who would have imagined the 20th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes to knock down the number 1-ranked LSU Tigers? Well, that’s exactly what happened. The Buffs pulled off a 92-78 victory and Pilar Sanders, who is Deion Sanders‘ ex-wife, couldn’t be any happier. After all, her daughter, Shelomi, is a part of the team.

While she did not play due to an injury, Shelomi ‘Bossy’ Sanders was on the court cheering her teammates on with all her force. Meanwhile, Pilar Sanders has raised some eyebrows with a comment.

On 7th November 2023, Pilar took to Instagram to post about the success that the Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball team had over the LSU Tigers. Captioning the post, she wrote, “Took that #1 seat and Sat in it!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHH! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 #skobuffs #gobuffs #cubuffswbb #proudmommy #basketballmom.”

Colorado Buffaloes Center Aaronette Vonleh was a huge force behind this win. Going against last year’s NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player Angel Reese, she successfully dominated both sides of the court.

While Shelomi couldn’t play, her excitement was visible online. Apart from the mother-daughter duo, Deion Sanders shared his thoughts on this huge victory.
