A family trip isn’t complete unless the whole group intended to be there is present. In what is supposed to be a perfect spring break vacation for Coach Prime and the Sanders family, Shilo Sanders had to go and mess it up. And Deion Sanders is none too pleased with his irresponsible demeanor.

What happened was that Coach Prime planned an interesting boys’ trip to the Dominican Republic after a tedious spring football practice session with the Colorado Buffaloes. But while Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr. were present to enjoy the trip, the middle Sanders son was missing in action. Why? He forgot his passport. See how Deion Sanders hurled his disappointment over his behavior.

A recent Well Off Media upload on YouTube documented an interesting exchange between father and son. As Coach Prime enjoyed his family trip with the boys in the Dominican Republic, he face-timed Shilo Sanders who couldn’t make it to the trip with them. Deion Sanders introduced Shilo Sanders to the camera and told him, “I just want to palm your face and throw your head as far as I can.”

While the quote sounds harsh, of course, it’s just Deion Sanders’ way of messing with his kids for their misbehavior. Shilo Sanders responded with “It wasn’t meant to be” but he had to sit there and listen to his dad reprimanding his misdeed. Coach Prime’s disappointment resounded in his words when he slammed his middle son whom he believed was the No. 1 son to have forgotten his passport. Shilo Sanders not only explained the situation saying he thought he had it in his bag but he also tried to appease his dad saying he bought him some shoes. But it’s the way of life and sometimes disappointment can take the lead just as Shilo Sanders also felt the same way towards Coach Prime recently.

Coach Prime appeased Shilo Sanders with recognition

Defensive players aren’t usually given due credit and recognition compared to offensive players, in this case, a star QB like Shedeur Sanders. Given that the youngest Sanders son takes all the spotlight on Coach Prime’s interviews, Shilo Sanders expressed his disappointment in his dad following his interview on Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The 24-year-old said, “I saw you on Jimmy Fallon… He mentioned Shedeur… You were supposed to mention me too.”

Deion Sanders, however, maintained his side of the bargain because he did mention Shilo Sanders in his exclusive talk. When he was asked where he envisions Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter in the NFL he said, “I know where I want them to go. And let’s not forget Shilo okay? But I know where I want them to go.” Coach Prime’s relationship with his sons is always on an interesting level filled with both pride and disappointment as is what it is universally.
