The revamp and the revival of Coach Prime’s signature shoes are taking the world of college football by storm. The Buffs’ fans have had an outcry related to the scarcity of the iconic sneakers but Deion has assured his fans that more will be in stock soon. With such a hunger for the essence of Coach Prime and a fragment of his personality, Deion is thinking of utilizing the popularity of his shoes to offer motivation to his team players.
Deion Sanders, the HC for the Colorado Buffaloes, released the first Air Diamond Turf in 1993, after which, he brought the Air Diamond Turf 2 sequels in 1994. Unfortunately, the relationship between Deion and Nike ran its ground and ended up terminating their partnership but now, the bridges have been mended and a revival has been ensued. Now that the Air Diamond Turf shoes are blowing up like crazy, Deion aims to use the hype for the pair to better motivate his players by offering them as a prize for exceptional performance.

While talking about how the shoes haven’t affected recruitment in the past, Deion said, “This year, we will. You know why? Because the guys that ball, they going to get them. Show me what you got and then I can count on you. I got you right? We got a whole locker room full of them, I got you though man but if you don’t ball, I can’t do that. I can’t do that.” Thus, Deion’s ready to give out the shoes to his players but only the deserving ones, that show that they are serious enough to be worthy of the pairs.
