Deion is known to be quite the confident coach when it comes to his players and roster. On the May 9th episode of the ‘Thee Pregame Show Network’, the hosts were seen discussing Deion’s statement where he was talking about how he wants to be remembered as a coach rather than a player. Later, they dove deep into a clip of his addressing the recent social media storm against him and Shedeur and iterated a phone call with his son, and how he calmed down his nerves.

Deion was heard saying, “How can they get so frustrated with that? This ain’t normal so that has to be something, oh my god it has to be something huge that’s coming because this is truly abnormal. Like Shedeur text me last night. He text me, he said, “Dad it’s a darn shame that the truth is starting to look like a lie. What is wrong with people?” I say son, it is what it is. This too shall pass and we are going to learn a lot from these times.

Thus, while time may heal the Sanders’ men’s wounds, the NFL might not be as kind. Recently, it was revealed that the social media scandal will have a direct implication on Shedeur’s draft stock, which has plummeted drastically.

Tracing back Shedeur Sanders’ problematic tweets

The troubles all began for the Sanders men when Xavier Smith came out with his story about the controversial exit from Colorado. According to him, Deion was really brutal in telling Smith that he should enter the Spring transfer portal rather than continue with the team. Smith was called out on his sob story by Shedeur, who tweeted a harsh response which said, “Ion even remember him tbh. Bro had to be very mid at best” This set off an extremely poor example for the young QB, who is supposed to be a leader of the Buffs.

Next, the Cormani McClain story. The former 5-star prospect announced his exit from Coach Prime’s team recently. Later, in an interview, he disclosed his reasons for departing and made the controversial statement by claiming that the team plays for “clicks” rather than the actual sport. This drew in fire from both Shedeur and Travis, who tweeted that the team is all the better without all these players who have decided to quit. Thus, the storm against Shedeur has been absolutely massive and a lot of the Buffs’ fans have turned their backs on the franchise player because of the poor sportsmanship he’s displayed these past few weeks.
