The Colorado Buffaloes are working hard to improve their defense line and are led by the three coaching musketeers who are Deion’s trusted choices. With the squad reshaping like nothing else, the fans expect positive results from the team that will overturn the shame of 2023’s 4-8 record. Deion Sanders is known to be a wizard while bringing new additions to Boulder.
For the 2024 season, Deion has brought in coaches like Defensive Coordinator Robert Livingston, Offensive Line Coach Phil Loadholt, and Wide Receivers Coach Jason Phillips. The Buffaloes are leading with the horns and the trio of defensive coaches will spend time sharpening them for the upcoming season.

On the 4th June episode of ‘The Pregame Show‘, the right-hand man of Deion Sanders came on the show to break down the areas of improvement that the Buffaloes are expected to show in the upcoming season. Later, Neely spoke about how the three D-line coaches are widely influencing the team and how they’re also coaching the edge rushers along with the defensive players.
“These young players love the guys they’re being coached by and want to run through a brick wall for them” is what Neely had to say to shed light on the rapport the coaches have built with the players.
Lastly, Neely mentioned the trio’s way of coaching is going to widely impact the sort of depth that will stem from the new additions’ plays and said, “They are so motivated, from Damien Lewis to Vincent Dancy, to Warren Sapp, you have this three-headed monster that’s coaching everybody on that D line as well as the edge rushers as well and so those three coaches.”
He continued, “The way they communicate, the way they work together, the way they have the same philosophy, not to mention, the depth that you’ve added and the talent that you’ve added, we’re going to play some football on the other side of the line of scrimmage.”

Thus, the Buffaloes seem to be building a roster that will provide much better results than the 2023 squad, which in its entirety, failed miserably on the gridiron. With that said, here’s a look at Deion and Warren Sapp’s friendship, which played a big role in bringing him on board as an assistant coach.
Warren Sapp hired as a senior quality control analyst
The former defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp announced his decision to come to the Colorado Buffaloes and join Coach Prime’s staff. Before denying his involvement with the team back in January, Sapp announced he would join the team as a senior quality control analyst in April.

Even though Sapp doesn’t have valuable experience as a coach, his 13-year NFL career put a lot of credibility against his name. Moreover, becoming a fanboy of Deion Sanders played a big role in his decision to come to Boulder. In one video released by Well Off Media, Sapp said, “I’ve been a Deion Sanders fan since I was 12 years old. So we are all here for the man. Let’s go riding. Championship time!”
And sure enough, the team seems to look ready in all its glory to try to go all into a natty game this season.
