Just another day of Deion Sanders substantializing his crown of the ‘Transfer Portal King’! It has been a good amount of days since the doors of teams were flung open on the signing day. Thus far, Sanders and Co. have welcomed 19 signed players to Buffs, many of them five-star recruits. It was only on Sunday that the Buffs signed their second defensive commit of the season, DJ McKinnley. Yet, their daunting 4-8 record looms over them.
However, the saga is not over yet. Seems that Deion Sanders is on a voyage to break all records in NCAA football transfer history, as he brings in yet another ‘elite transfer’ per the ON3 transfer portal tracker. Albeit, this does not put an end to fans’ worry over the Buffs’ future.

Fans continue skeptical comments
Five-star recruit Lajohntay Wester, a transfer from Palmetto, FL, joined hands with Buffs. His wish to play under Deion Sanders, and having the ability to reach that caliber reflects from his ranking as a player from the class of 2020 at his high school. Indeed, the 5 foot 11, 167-pound WR would be an invaluable asset to the team. But the real issue from the fans’ end is Deion Sanders. People across the internet are questioning Coach Prime’s ability to leverage the talent he is provided with properly.
They’ll still lose more than half their games. Being an elite player does not always transfer to being an elite coach – And that was on full display this past season.

“They’ll still lose more than half their games. Being an elite player does not always transfer to being an elite coach – And that was on full display this past season,” is what the fans think. Well, Deion Sanders walked into Colorado last season with some of the best players from Jackson State. Yet, this season’s match-ups disappointed the fans, with an even more disappointing record of 4-8. Hence, fans are enraged about Sanders getting credits for the transfer portal when he reportedly couldn’t make the best out of the previous season’s ‘elite’ transfer portal.
What other fans have to say about Deion Sanders
This fan mentioned an identical storyline, of Buffs of being able to properly leverage the top-notch talent they possess.
Same story as last year and they win 5-6 games

One other fan was quick to point out the real problem here: Deion Sanders’ inability to place players in the positions they might play the best.
Dude doesn't even recruit so he certainly doesn't know how to place players into positions of need and to succeed. Had an awful year last year when he completely flipped the roster. Should get 0 credit going from a 1 win team to 4 because that wasn't the same team

This fan went to the extent of breaking down Deion Sanders’ supposed theory of coaching all the elite players, criticizing him, of course.
Another- because it worked out so good for him last year.
His theory is “if I bring in a bunch of transfer players every year, ONE of these teams will be good! Than I don’t have to coach em!”

Fans were simply not going to forget how horrible the 4-8 season turned out, and they will make sure to remind Sanders and Co. as well.
I’ll be honest, knowing THIS is the way they’ve preached that they’ll build their team I expect them to be #1 in the portal yearly. But it still matters the quality of player coming from that portal and if they’re any good. We saw how Bishop turned out for them last szn.

Who’s to blame? The short-tempered ones were quick to lose their temper, all while making a partially caveat-ish comment, if he fails in the next season as well, with a GIF that had other users laughing out loud.
