Why are people so mad at Deion Sanders for speaking his mind? Let's hear your thoughts!

CBS ranking Deion Sanders as the “2nd worst coach on College football” led to a whole new controversy. Back on August 10th, when he was asked a question by a CBS reporter, Coach Prime directly said that he did not want to talk to CBS. And, after that, Jason Whitlock took to X to call out Deion Sanders, regarding him as “a man so fragile, fraudulent, and feminine that he can’t take questions from men who mean him no harm.”

A day later, Deion has taken to his Instagram story to send out a final jab. “They mad because they can’t figure out how you’re still being blessed after they lied and built a whole team to go against you,” Coach Prime wrote in his story.

Whatever the Buffs are today, it’s solely because of what Coach Prime has done. He was handed a program that had nothing going for him. When the Big 12 Commissioner mentioned that Deion Sanders, “builds legacies. He doesn’t inherit them,” it was pure truth. The team went from having a terrible 1-11 season to a 4-8 run. Not only that, they now have a solid roster as well, with potential No.1 QB Shedeur Sanders and probably the best player in all of college football, Travis Hunter.

If that wasn’t enough, ticket sales for Colorado matches have gone up by 40% ever since Coach Prime took over. The entire program is now valued at over $200 million.

When Deion refused to talk with the CBS reporter back on August 10th, it made sense, because of the constant criticism that he has been receiving. However, one thing is for sure. If Sanders wants to pull himself and his team out of this, he has to grab the win this season. Will he manage to get it done?

Are the Buffs ready?

“We ain’t coming, we already here.” Coach James Chaney mentioned back on July 9th. And with all the updates we have received regarding the changes in the Buffs, it’s safe to say that they are ready. During his visit to the camp, CU alum, Matt McChesney said, “All the offensive linemen were helping out at camp, and I felt small, like, I’m looking up with all these mo***rf**kers so they are big as shit.”

Have an interesting take?

With the early transfer portal, Deion managed to pull in 6 new offensive linemen into the team. This was done to protect Shedeur Sanders when he is in the pocket. Coach Prime even brought in Patt Shurmur to help Shedeur out.

The biggest problem that the Buffs faced last year was even though Shedeur had solid ball placement and accuracy, he just couldn’t keep up and was unable to defend himself when needed. If this problem is sorted out, then there is no doubt that Shedeur can make some solid plays. However, while the changes look great, only the game results will speak. Let’s see if Deion finally manages to redeem himself.
