The eldest brother is almost like a second parent to the younger siblings. And when haters tried to come after Shedeur Sanders, Bucky couldn’t just sit back and witness it all unfurl. At this point, Sanders Jr. is as much a part of the team as the players since he spends all his time recording footage of the Buffs, and as such, he is sensitive to the hate that envelopes the program incessantly.
Shedeur being defended by ‘Big Brother’ isn’t a rare occurrence since the founder of the ‘Well Off Media’ channel is an active defendant of his father and all things related to the Colorado Buffaloes. He’s slammed media outlets in the past also for using Shedeur and Coach Prime as mediums to gain publicity and now that Fox Sports is pulling a similar antic, he didn’t just fold his hands but rather let his frustrations voice out. Bucky defends the program on the daily so what did the trolls expect when they chose to go after his youngster brother, Shedeur?

On 5th August, Fox CFB took to their official Instagram account to post a quote from Rex Beyers about his opinion on Shedeur and how he can do better in the 2024 season. This didn’t sit too well with Bucky, who took to the comments to let the media outlet know of his dismay with the entire situation. Beyers was quoted saying, “He takes far too long to process information and get through his progressions. That’s the most important improvement he needs to make, to determine where he gets drafted next year. Nobody will argue about his natural talent. He’s just got to get better upstairs, and he can do that.”

For starters, Beyers is a veteran oddsmaker, or in Layman’s terms, an experienced gambler who hails from Sin City, Las Vegas. As such, Bucky didn’t feel too good about the fact that someone who’s so far away from the actual sport of football gets to have such a big platform for his harsh opinion of his brother. Among the controversies that Colorado has been riddled with, these criticisms are just piling onto the team’s plate of concerns.
Bucky reacted to this quite agitatedly and said, “Y’all posting quotes from bookies & gamblers now?” As if this wasn’t enough, Bucky also posted a story with the post and captioned it with, “They posting quotes from gamblers now… these people have completely lost it” Thus, it looks like Bucky is a family man through and through who is only a heartbeat away from protecting his family and by the looks of it, Deion is mighty proud of him despite his talents’ lying outside of the gridiron.

Something that often goes unnoticed is that Bucky did have a college football career but a quite brief one. Soon after playing for the SMU Mustangs as a wide receiver, he realized that his true talents lie within show business and being an entrepreneur. For a family that has always been used to being in front of the flashing lights and shutter sounds, Bucky found his home behind it and became a jack of his trade. As of today, the Colorado Buffaloes are well known through his channel, which has over half a million followers today.
Bucky does lag as compared to his brothers, but his success story is more interesting since he was able to make his way towards glory without the influence of Deion or football to help him out. Back on May 11, Deion took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message for his eldest son that got all the fans applauding the name of Bucky. One of the excerpts from the lengthy caption read, “This is the Man! He’s Changed the Game! Thank u @deionsandersjr for putting all of us on. I’m truly Proud of u. Keep on Rapping, filming, energizing us & being ALL WHOM GOD CALLED U TO BE.” Thus, all 3 of the Sanders brothers are excelling in their respective fields and making Deion a proud father as well as a coach.
