Coach Prime often gets imitated by his sons Shedeur and Shilo. Now, stand-up comedian Mike Epps has stepped up bringing forth a burst of laughter imitating the legend. Recently, while at a comedy show, Deion Sanders was completely taken over by comedian Mike Epps’ performance. Later, he shared a clip of the show on his Instagram account as well.

Accompanied by the caption, “That’s messed up”, the video shows Epps in his element, when he suddenly starts doing an imitation of Coach Prime. The live audience and Sanders later are treated to a visual treat as the comedian walks across the stage in iconic Deion Sanders’ walk with impeccable precision.

Before the walk, Epps brings Coach Prime to life on stage adopting the legend’s signature style adopting his unmistakable tone as he exclaims, “I’m happy for Prime Time”. Visibly amused by the flawless imitation, beyond the timespan it reached Sanders who came with a good-natured response.

Epps took the center of the stage and could not resist himself from poking fun at the legendary Deion Sanders. Coach Prime’s joyous spirit who is always in the mood to revel has been rightly impersonated as Epps claimed, “He came all the way from HBCU man. Laughter-filled celebration as Epps captures Sanders’ journey

While Epps’ move in imitating Coach Prime’s signature walk created a moment of pure entertainment for the audience, it underscores a deeper and longer journey of the Buffaloes’ head coach’s battle against health challenges. However, as the audience laughed, Deion Sanders watching the telecast also shared a good laugh forgetting about his tough times. The eight-time Pro Bowler and six-time All-Pro suffered a major setback in 2021, he underwent eight surgeries within one month that left him to get his two toes amputated in the process.

In June 2023, Prime underwent surgery to address blood clots in his left leg. He also suffered a blood clot in his right leg that accounted for 12 surgeries that the coach underwent to treat this health issue. This new year, Prime went on a health journey with the rest of his team, determined to get fit, with the motivation, “Happy Blessed Productive Peaceful New Year! Let’s deal with Solutions to last year’s problems instead of New Year’s Resolution! #CoachPrime #21DayswithPrime I’m getting Fine! Who with me?”

It seems Deion has finally left his health worries in the past and is ready to joke about it as well. Are you ready for the resurgence of Coach Prime and Buffaloes this year?
