Texas Longhorns’ QB gets injured
One of the more famous Longhorns players, QB Quinn Ewers, got injured at the beginning of the final quarter, moments after he set a record for his team. Despite having the upper hand, the situation seems tense for Texas now as one of their most talented players fell to the ground while playing, which was assumed to be because of his ankle being rolled. However, it was his hip that was injured. While the intensity of the injury is yet unknown, they can only hope it does not affect their upcoming games, and possibly their post-season appearances.
Quinn Ewers just scrambled for a first down, but he went down on the field holding his right hip afterwards. Maalik Murphy now in the game for Texas.

With Ewers out of the picture, it will be a challenge for the Longhorns to maintain their 42-14 lead against Oklahoma State. Or will Oklahoma bridge the gap? The Longhorns were already sitting out three of their players before the game. Now they will be joined by their QB.

However, Ewers is no stranger to injuries this week. Ewers spraining his ACL joint in the 31-24 game against Houston took the internet by storm and the fans by dissepiment. Reportedly, the sack landed on his right shoulder and his collision with David Ugwoegbu, Houston defender, impacted his left shoulder.
Despite all odds, Ewers made it to the game this week, as Sarkisian predicted. “I know he’s going to work tirelessly to get back,” said he. Also shedding light on his positive health and conditioning habits, he continued, “These injuries, some guys come back earlier than others. He’s in the best shape of his life, so hopefully we get him back sooner rather than later.”
