As the stadium got covered in the colors of maize and blue, JJ McCarthy and Tyler Booker met on the field and hugged it out after their rivalry.

After the match ended, Jim Harbaugh took to the post-match conference to talk about the invaluable JJ McCarthy and said that he’s the best quarterback in college football history. Additionally, he compared him to Brady and said that McCarthy still has a long way to go but will eventually end up being the next big player after the 7-time Super Bowl winner. He said, “Got a long way to go to get to where Tom Brady eventually got to, which is the GOAT. He’s lapped the field when it comes to that. But in a college career, there’s been nobody at Michigan better than J.J.”

In response to the viral video of Harbaugh’s statement, Brady himself replied by saying, “Go Blue!!! No doubt!!!” McCarthy has been a vital part of the team and a Heisman contender rightfully, but it will be interesting to see whether he comes to the aid of the team when they play against the Washington Huskies on January 9th on the grandest stage of them all.
