The star QB was on the receiving end of several hard-hitting blows, yet he continued to play till the Buffs’ second-last game against Washington State. However, the injury that he encountered before the ultimate showdown against Utah might be the most brutal one yet. All Buffs fan knows how pivotal the game against Utah was, given the team’s 5-losing streak, as well as the last shreds of hope from the fans. 

Even Deion Sanders emphasized twice that his QB son taking pain-relieving injections to keep his foot going in the field, and the QB garnered a ton of applause for the same. However, applauding does not equate to the end of expectations for both the team and the fans. As a result, Shedeur Sanders ended up injuring his back in the second quarter in the cutting-edge game against Washington State.

Being one of the most sacked QBs in the Nation comes with its own cons for Shedeur Sanders. A back injury right before the final game of the regular season was one. The news was revealed in a video by Well Off Media, a channel by Deion Sanders Jr., around the 4:50 mark.

Owing to his injury, Shedeur will also have to miss out on the off-season fun that each player looks forward to. With the festivities taking over most of the world, and the holiday season seeping into the lifestyles of everyone, unfortunately, Shedeur Sanders was thrilled to participate in the thrilling holiday adventures. However, he will not be able to indulge in a snow sport he was eagerly looking forward to this fall, snowboarding. He posted his disappointment for the same across various social media. Sanders has a tradition of celebrating each festival to its fullest, as Deion Sanders expresses in many of his press conferences and social media posts. However, Shedeur Sanders won’t be able to follow the tradition, owing to his fracture.

As if baring the massive downfall of Colorado Buffs after a blazing start of 3-0 was not enough. However, the players did not disappoint the audience, at least with their impressive records this season. Shedeur Sanders was surely one of them, earning the title of raking in the most yardage in a single season. As he misses his snowboarding fun, fans wish him a quick recovery with an even more action-packed next season.
