Shelomi Sanders, the skilled Guard for the Colorado Buffaloes, has made a noteworthy entrance into women’s college basketball, leaving an indelible mark with a triumphant 3-pointer against Air Force. Her stellar performance has not only captured the attention of enthusiastic fans but has also earned admiration from her peers within the sporting community. During a post-game interview, the young athlete was asked, “What was the rehab like for you to get your thumb healthy again?” Shelomi replied by saying, “There’s nothing I could really do about it…it was frustrating cuz I was just sitting and just watching not doing anything for a long time but glad to be back in practice and doing stuff.”

On October 29, 2023, Pilar Sanders shared a reel on Instagram featuring herself and Shelomi walking in the snow. In the video, Shelomi revealed that she broke her finger in a recent match with the Colorado Buffaloes. As a crucial player for the team, her injury raises concerns about her recovery before the upcoming season opener against the LSU Tigers. However, she was able to not only recover fully but also put up an outstanding performance.
