Deion Sanders, the coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, talks about his way of dealing with hate that gets spewed at him. The 56-year-old coach has been at the center of attention ever since he arrived at Colorado University. Though his team hasn’t had the best season, it looks as if people haven’t been kind to Deion and have made disturbing threats against him.

Amazon has released the newest season of the ‘Coach Prime’ series, which has been very well received by the fans of the two-time Super Bowl winner. The latest season features four new episodes with footage from behind the scenes of the locker room that gives an insight into what goes on with the team. In episode 4 of the Coach Prime show, a clip shows Deion talking about the challenges he faces with the team. The interviewer asked him if he’d had any challenges with race, and Deion’s answer would leave you with your jaws wide open.

Deion replied to the question by saying, “Only thing we’ve gotten from this ethnicity has been on the spiritual side. They don’t wanna hear nothing about no Jesus. We, every day, when I meet with the coaches, we pray. When I meet with my team, we pray. And sometimes Bucky would show it in one of the videos, and you talk about letters and hate. Bucky and I get death threats like crazy. Darn near every day, at least once a week.” Thus, while we see the positive side of the Buffaloes’ HC on television, it’s evident that he has his share of challenges when it comes to dealing with severe hatred.

Additionally, he talked about how some people don’t appreciate the fact that he prays with the team so often, and as a result, Deion receives death threats. But while things might get difficult for Deion, he has faith and trust in Jesus, who he believes will guide him away from all these evils. Moreover, Coach Prime is an extremely religious person, as can be seen through his tweets and Instagram posts.

Deion shares his secret for life and its forthcomings through his love for Jesus

On August 1, Deion took to Instagram to post two images that talked about his passion and love for Jesus Christ. While he has been a man of sport and hard work all his life, he has been a devout Christian throughout and continues to spread the message to this day.

He is the only one who can satisfy your heart.” The quote also applies to Deion’s current life situation, as he recently split from his longtime girlfriend Tracey Edmonds. Even though the decade-long relationship came to an upsetting end, Deion will have his trust in Jesus to guide him and ensure his well-being. But as the new season draws closer, will the power of prayer and love for Jesus be enough to lead them to a national championship?
