Deion Sanders Jr. is setting the standards for being an ‘Uncle’ now that his sister Deiondra Sanders has confirmed the rumors of her pregnancy. As she has the time of her life on the coasts of Sint Maarten with her baby daddy Jacquees, her brother Deion Sanders Jr. is back home in Colorado, defending Deiondra’s on-the-way baby.

When Deion Sanders Jr. got into a banter with Travis Hunter, he hardly anticipated the turn it would take. Travis Hunter was reveling teasing his bro Buckey through his hilarious banter with him about Deiondra Sanders’ unborn baby. The two were initially joking about Deiondra’s to-be baby’s height. “Going to be 5’2,” Hunter said, barely able to speak between his fits of laughter. Sanders Jr. was enjoying his part then, adding further to the Deiondra’s future baby’s roast, saying, “No 5’2? he might not even pass 5.” Deiondra Sanders stands 5 feet 6 tall while her boyfriend Jacquees is around 5 feet 4.

Buckey and Hunter’s roast might be an indirect jibe at their height. Further, they did not spare Deiondra’s soon-to-be-born baby by pouring some sky-high expectations on him. “Ain’t got no choice but to act and sing and be smart. He going to have he going to have Sanders in the blood so he got to play baseball. As he can play baseball, he going to be the next mess. Ge going to be fast as hell,” Hunter kept on adding, turning up his and Sanders Jr’s laughter.

It was after this that Buckey felt a line being crossed, especially when he and Hunter were laughing their hearts out uncontrollably on his sister’s unborn baby. Activating his protective uncle mode, Sanders Jr. halted Travis Hunter roast dead in the tracks, saying, “That’s not funny bro. That’s not right. Stop doing my sister like that,” Deion Sanders Jr. asserted to Travis Hunter. Well, Sanders Jr. has never shied away from being a proud uncle for his sister’s future baby since the day she made the news official.

Deiondra Sanders’ fight against the odds was a treacherous one. Her myriad of past health issues and her 4 myomectomy surgeries rendered her with a slim chance of being able to conceive in the future, per her medical advisor’s words. Yet, the news of her entering a healthy 7th month of pregnancy was purely ‘a miracle’ for her, expressing her gratitude towards God, a deeply shared core value in the Sanders’ house.
