Despite a dry recruiting season, Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian is very confident about his team this season. While the spotlight is on big guns like Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers, another player on the roster is sweating it out hard on the field: Brady Sarkisian.

Brady Sarkisian, one of the three Sarkisian kids, made headlines when he joined the Texas Longhorns in 2022. The linebacker is very active on Instagram and frequently posts about his life in Texas.

Steve Sarkisian married his first wife, Stephanie, in 1997, and together, they had three children — Ashley, Taylor and Brady. The couple, however, parted ways in 2015. The coach went through a rough phase following his divorce. The rough stretch ended when he met Loreal, a former track star, at Alabama with Nick Saban. In 2020, Steve married Loreal.

The Sarkisian kids like sharing glimpses of their luxurious lives on social media. Ashley Sarkisian, the oldest of the Sarkisian siblings, has often been seen attending parties and other events at the club with his father, Steve. Ashley Sarkisian also has quite an impressive academic background. Ashley graduated with a major in international relations from New York University this year and a minor in Spanish and Portuguese. She went to Sage Hill High School. Ashley, who had been on the Dean’s list at NYU for her academic achievements, also played volleyball in high school.

Ashley was the university volleyball and beach volleyball team captain at Sage Hill. She also stood out as a prolific speaker, delivering an insightful TedX speech on the consumption of modern technology. She often posts pictures of herself supporting and cheering for her father’s team, and her brother, Brady.

Brady Sarkisian committed to his Papa Sarkisian’s football program in 2022 as a walk-on for the 2023 Texas recruiting class. Brady had been a three-star prospect who chose the Texas Longhorns over Marshall Thundering Herd and Arkansas State Red Wolves. In his senior year at Corona Del Mar High School in California, he piled up 33 tackles, five sacks, and two pass breakups as a linebacker and edge rusher. The 6’1”, 230-pound LB is majoring in sociology.

The youngest sibling, Taylor, is Papa Steve’s “baby girl,” as wished by the coach on her 16th birthday in April. Not much information is available about Taylor on the internet.

Steve and Loreal jointly filed for a divorce on Friday

On Friday, July 26, the “First Lady of Texas Football” Loreal and Steve took to Instagram stories in separate posts to announce that they are getting a divorce after four years of their marriage. The posts stated that their careers “made it difficult to prioritize time for each other.” However, they “aim to remain the best of friends.”

The post ends, “While we appreciate all the love and encouragement we have received, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this transition as we embark on this new chapter in our lives.”

Loreal launched her styling business in 2017. She has also coached track and field for USC. A former athlete, Loreal ran hurdles at North Carolina A&T State University. As a fashion influencer and philanthropist with more than 120k followers on Instagram, Loreal regularly steals the spotlight at Texas football games owing to his impeccable fashion and style.
