On the podcast Green Light with Chris, the host threw Sweat a question hinting at Williams’ entry into the Bears, “What’s one piece of advice that you would give a young quarterback trying to be a leader in this league in a room full of alphas and veterans?” Then came the defensive end’s swift reply, “Be yourself don’t try to do it all over the night and just stay humble um don’t try to do it all by yourself. You got a great group of guys around you.”
Having renowned players like Keenan Allen around him, Williams is advised not to take up the pressure on himself. Instead of trying to do it all at once, the USC Trojans quarterback, on stepping into the Bears squad, must adapt himself first with the team and those around. Things are moving fast for Chicago as far as landing Williams is concerned.

During this tenure, the Bears arranged a separate dinner with the prospective No. 1 pick. Bears brass and veteran players joined Williams for dinner at Sophia Steak in Lake Forest. The next day, the quarterback visited Halas Hall and met young veterans, including Tyrique Stevenson and DJ Moore.
Since the Ryan Poles franchise has traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers, they have set out a plan to bring in Williams. Now that they are almost done with their accomplishment, Matt Eberflus and company are channeling their focus on the quarterback’s pre-draft visit.
