The Colorado Buffaloes head coach, known for his unwavering support, never misses a chance to shower his Buffs with praise. This time, the Buffs’ offensive lineman, Tyler Brown (the “Rock” of CU), receives Deion Sanders’ admiration. However, it’s not Brown’s football talents or gridiron debut records that have earned him this praise. It’s his significant milestone in his academic career, his graduation with a degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, that has left Coach Prime and the entire Buffs community feeling immensely proud and inspired.

The Buffs HC is not the only one to give a shoutout, as Brown receives felicitation from another loyal Buff, Deion Sanders Jr. It’s a time for the “Rock” to claim all the spotlight, with the entire Buffs family standing behind him.

On May 1, Brown tweeted, “So excited to announce that I’ll finally be getting my undergrad degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado May 9th and walk across that stage!! Thank you to everyone who has supported me #skobuffs Masters coming soon.” The D-Day has arrived as the Buffs OL finished his degree with flying colors. It’s also special for Deion Sanders since his “Rock” is now a graduate. Sharing his feelings on X and posting a picture of Brown from his graduation ceremony, the Buffs HC wrote, “‘Rock’ so darn proud of u ! @_tylerbrown56 on the Gram.”

As expected, Deion Sanders’ son Bucky flashed the news first. On May 9, he posted a picture of Brown smiling ear to ear, decked up in his graduation hat and attire showing a victory sign. The caption read, “Legendary @t_brown56”. Now, intrigue prevails over whether the player will be focusing on studies or football. But here is some good news.

Brown’s plan for the future revealed by proud mom

The “Rock” at Jackson State earned AP third-team FCS All-American honors. He also became the top lineman on an offense that led the SWAC and even earned a Top 15 rank scoring offense at 38.0 points per game. The YouTube podcast BiggDoggChico sits with an interview with Brown’s mom to find out, “What is he looking to become a professional in after football?”

The proud mom revealed that Brown is a scholar athlete with a 3.6 GPA in his major, and he wishes to pursue his interest in Speech Pathology alongside football. This not only secures a degree for Brown but also opens doors to a world of possibilities. His education could lead to helping others overcome communication challenges or making groundbreaking discoveries in the field. This plan of Brown’s fills the audience with hope and optimism about his journey ahead.

The last season tested Tyler Brown’s patience as the NCAA denied eligibility for the OL. But the time has arrived for his life to change for all things good. Even being away from the gridiron, he left enough opportunities for Deion Sanders and his son to feel proud about their own “Rock.”
