Shedeur Sanders’ draft stock is soaring again. Although there are claims, such as the one from CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso stating that some teams will ‘shy away’ from Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL draft. Skip Bayless, the host of ‘Undisputed, begs to differ. On his June 25 show with Keyshawn Johnson, Bayless put forth his confident opinion on Shedeur Sanders. The NFL expert had some strong predictions to make about Shedeur’s 2025 draft pick as well.

Per Bayless, Shedeur was going to be the “first pick in the draft and really, really good at pro football.” The NFL expert seemed sold on Shedeur Sanders being a good QB, referring to him as ‘ as seasoned and experienced as a college football QB you’re going to get’ and praising his QB skills to be “not just the best QB in that conference, but he’s the best QB in the country.”

Amid the mock draft analysts not being big fans of Shedeur Sanders, several NFL experts and pro league veterans have jumped to defend Prime’s prediction about his son ‘pulling an Eli Manning in the league’. Deion Sanders believes that his son would be so in demand in the QB market that he would be the one to choose which team he would go to and not the other way around!

Well, both hosts of ‘Nightcap’, Chad Johnson and Shannon Sharpe believe that Shedeur Sanders “ will be the top QB next year.” If the opinions are not convincing enough, there are the PPF ranks of Shedeur Sanders. Sanders’ record in 2023 of raking in a 76% completion rate, 19 touchdowns, 119.3 passer rating, and absolutely 0 interceptions kept his stats clean, earning him a 93.4 PPF grade.

Well, Skip Bayless is positively confident that Shedeur Sanders would make it big in the 2025 NFL draft. While he practically can’t make it bigger than Caleb Williams, since he was drafted at No.1 in the 2024 NFL draft, Bayless does believe that Shedeur Sanders is “better than Caleb Williams.”

The reason for it? Bayless’s analysis of the strengths of Shedeur and Caleb Williams as QBs: “Big arm, can move, tough as anybody I’ve ever seen… It’s not even close that he should be the No. 1 pick next year and I’m on record, I think he can be better than Caleb [Williams] can be,” Bayless iterated confidently on his May 2024 episode of Undisputed.

While his record of being the starting QB of a 4-8 team was a disaster, Shedeur Sanders still has the chance of restoring his records by putting up a worthy performance this season, He also has the perfect revamped offense to back him up consisting of O-line beasts like Jordan Seaton, Yakiri Walker, Justin Mayers, Khalil Benson, and Tyler Brown. Shedeur can trust them not to let him get sacked as high as 52 times.
