Deion Sanders, being the head coach of his sons’s college football team, has sparked enough controversies. However, as Sanders Jr.’s college years near their end, analysts and fans all over the world are speculating what Deion Sanders’ next move might be. If this was not enough, Sanders’ statement about his decision to stay in college football has sent people down a thinking lane, contemplating his next moves.
Well, just like many other commentators and analysts, Skip Bayless and his guests too, opine that Sanders might re-consider his decision during the off-season. Moreover, being the father of one of the most desirable candidates for the upcoming off-season in the NFL is another stress looming above Sanders’ head. The 71-year-old expressed his opinion on Sheduer Sanders’ position in the upcoming draft.

Skip Bayless on Deion Sanders and Sons
Bayless, in his recent episode of ‘Undisputed’ podcast, made a comment that holds the potential to bring about another round of debate in both the NCAA and NFL. Speaking of his take on the 2024 draft, Skip Bayless is pretty confident that Coach Prime’s QB son will be selected in the first draft itself. So much so that Sheduer Sanders holds a better possibility of getting selected before Caleb Williams in next year’s draft. “I still think he could be the first pick in the draft this year between him and Caleb,” expressed Bayless.
Well, Caleb Williams is no joke. Williams, along with being the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, is a fierce competitor in the QB division for the Buffs’ QB. The possible candidate for this year’s Heisman trophy is also as celebrated of a QB of the Pac-12 Conference as Sanders Jr. It is very little doubt that each of these players will be selected in the first round picks in the 2024 drafts. However, who gets selected first will be the ultimate watch out for Bayless, which will prove his prediction true or false.

Bayless’s reminder to Coach Prime
Well, Bayless has already said enough about Deion Sander’s decision to stay in the college football coaching profession. Yet Bayless still believes that Sanders would think about extending his horizons to the NFL. “At some point, he’s going to say there’s one more frontier I have not conquered,” said Bayless.

But before setting his weapons to conquer the unknown frontier, Bayless wanted to remind him that even though Coach Prime holds the utmost importance of raising his kids as good citizens, he still has to work to make them win the Super Bowl. “It is strictly a business,” asserted Bayless. Well, Sanders is the holder of two Super Bowl rings, so it will be another huge accolade for him if his sons do it as well. Will they? Only time will tell.
