No matter what separates you, the brotherly bond always remains and the Colorado Buffaloes bros are showing that. A lot has happened during the spring transfer portal where several familiar faces have left Deion Sanders’ program, including RB Dylan Edwards and backup QB Gavin Kuld. But they still come together on social media to celebrate a big event with a fellow teammate.
CU Buffs RB Ahmir McGee displayed how his proposal went with his partner. In a recent IG post, he posted a series of photos of him proposing to his gorgeous girlfriend with the caption, “In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world, there is no love for you like mine.” A wonderful day topped with a fireworks show! What could be a more romantic proposal?

Former teammates joined in the celebration by reposting the post on IG. Former Buffs DB Israel Solomon, who entered the portal after one redshirt season in Colorado, posted on his IG story and wrote, “S**t let me find a wife too” followed by three crying-laughing emojis. Dylan Edwards also extended his regards commenting, “Congrats fam” on Ahmir McGee’s post.

Gavin Kuld, who recently got into a social media scandal with Shedeur Sanders, also dropped his appreciation on the couple by reposting the proposal photo on his IG story with the caption, “Congrats to the man.” With McGee’s retirement and the other former teammates going their separate ways, we can only admire the bond they share off-field and hope they continue to be this way. So where are the other players now?

Over 40 players left Colorado leaving Coach Prime and the Buffs disillusioned this spring. After recording 321 yards and one touchdown in five games played in 2023, Dylan Edwards has decided to hit the portal for better playing opportunities. Despite being coached by Coach Prime since seven, he decided that Kansas State would be the program he was seeking.
Edwards, whose father Leon Edwards also played as RB for the Wildcats, will have three years of eligibility remaining. As for Gavin Kuld and Israel Solomon, they’re yet to find potential landing spots. Another major Colorado departure Cormani McClain also found himself a role as a walk-on for the Florida Gators. Hopefully, all of these departing players will find what they’re looking for soon.
