When the incident unfolded, Darjean had to confiscate Shilo Sanders’ phone since it was violating the school’s no-phone policy. Prime’s son was sent into in-school suspension because of it. After it all, he called up his mother Pilar instead of his father. When Deion Sanders came to know about it, he asked Darjean to confiscate his phone. Which led to Shilo losing his cool and ramming his elbow into Darjean’s chest, knocking him unconscious.

When this information was revealed, fans were enraged, to say the least. Since Prime’s actions are now looking unfair to them, the fans are defending Shilo Sanders and demanding that Prime should be the one facing legal charges. “Whether his father told him to get the phone or not he shouldn’t be forcing himself on the boy to get the phone. He put his hands on the boy and he defended himself. And if his father did tell the security to get the phone and he got hurt in the process then he should be suing the father, not the son. He just looking for a payout,” a fan wrote on a YouTube video by BigSnackks revealing the news. While this fan was completely enraged, other fans were not sparing Prime either.

The fans jump to Shilo Sanders’ defense

Fans were not hesitating in bluntly, calling out Prime’s problematic attitude towards his child, which was evident in the way he dealt with the situation then. “The father could have called Shilo himself and told him to put the phone away or give it to the Guard. There’s a reason why he couldn’t talk to Shilo. Shilo knows a lot that he’s not telling on his father, which is why their relationship is so tense. Deion was being sly, slick, and wicked. He’s no angel,” another fan wrote about Prime’s and Shilo’s relationship.

Even the die-hard Deion Sanders fans were disappointed when they heard this news. “Love Deion, but I can’t roll with him on this one. Dude went through a lot. You need to know the story,” a fan wrote on YouTube, bringing the attention back to Deion Sanders. Speaking of bringing attention back, Fans did not take a second thought while highlighting the root cause of Prime’s anger then: Shilo resorting to his mother instead of his father, and Prime not liking it. 

“Deion went through court with Shilo in this situation. What was the plot behind the situation?” a fan genuinely asked to which came the burning reply. “The plot was to make Pilar look like an unfit mother and a liar. Those children were the ones affected most. He didn’t want to pay child support and alimony.” Even Darjean claimed that Prime’s relationship was not very smooth with ex-wife Pilar Sanders.
