A doctor’s board has been dedicated to scrutinizing Shilo Sanders’ shoulder injury and its repercussions in detail. After all, it is none other than Deion Sanders’ son and Colorado Buffaloes’ safety who will be going through a tough time by missing action by at least six months. Sports & Family Medicine Physician, Dr. Jesse Morse takes to X to share about the possibilities that Shilo might go through in detail.
Sharing pictures of shoulder joints and the probable spots of injury, the Buffs Headache Gang CEO’s future in college football seems to be uncertain. While some serious investigation is on the way, the rumor of Shilo being sidelined is no longer a rumor.

Dr. Morse has taken up the initiative relying on the news that broke earlier on May 2, that while Shilo is in the last year of his tenure in college football, he will be out of the game for six long months. The reason is a serious health issue rather than being a disciplinary action. In an attempt to calm down Shilo’s fans, Dr Morse took matters into his own hands to shed light on what is in store for the Buffs’ safety. In his latest tweet, he starts with, “Let’s discuss a couple of different possibilities.”

Confirming that the recovery process of shoulder surgeries takes around 3 to 6 months, the doctor went on to discuss the other chances. Without any intention to create panic, he just highlighted the different possibilities, “1. Shoulder (AC) sprain (Type III+) 2. Shoulder dislocation + Torn Labrum 3. Shoulder dislocation + Torn Labrum + Fracture (Bony Bankart)”. In case, Shilo’s injury is more complicated, first the fracture has to be stabilized and then the labrum will be prepped for repair that would take six months for the safety to be near to being fit. However, in the meantime, Coach Prime’s program comes up with a surprising input.
Shocking confirmation about Shilo from the Buffs
The news first was flashed by Sports Illustrated as they claimed that Deion Sanders’ son is “expected to be out for the start of the season after surgery to repair damage in his shoulder.” As soon as the rumor reached every corner of college football, the Buffs took the initiative to give the fans clarity about what was transpiring.

They claimed that they sought an update directly from the 24-year-old Shilo. To everyone’s surprise, NoSkoZone posted on X, “Great News Buff Nation. I just confirmed with Shilo Sanders that this article is completely false.” This confirmation ushered in good news for the fans in Boulder as they will be able to witness the last season of Shilo in Colorado before he heads out to join the NFL the next year.
Even though going by the reports, Shilo will be continuing to take charge of the gridiron, Deion Sanders and company are unable to release a sigh of relief. During the spring transfer portal, they have lost over 20 players and hence the program is still grappling with the loss, finding ways to make up for the damage.
