It was Deion Sanders who first revealed the big news. On May 8, the proud father wrote on Instagram, “@bmfstarz Season 3 Episode 10 guess who’s playing a Young PRIME! I’m so proud of @shilosanders he did the Doggone THANG! Good Lawd the SANDERS boys are exercising all the gifts that GOD gave them and having fun living this life that we only get 1 shot at. Live kids Live. #Dad #Bob.” Months later, Shilo got the right platform to share his experience of how it was to do justice to Deion’s character. However, as claimed by the Buffs’ safety, his ease and comfort facing the camera worked wonders. “It’s just kind of normal like doing commercials and stuff, it just felt like the same but it was cool being able to officially portray that,” quipped Shilo.
He further confessed that the whole experience felt unreal as it brought life to Deion’s role, “I be always joking about it all the time so it was cool that you know dang it’s on a real show now.”Shilo pulled off the Deion Sanders role like a superstar in the Starz crime drama BMF season finale. But how did Shilo manage to ace the acting game when all he does is play football?

Shilo’s acting talents are nothing but pure inheritance
Acting runs through Shilo’s veins. It started with Deion Sanders, who also had a successful stint in Hollywood. His last break in front of the camera was in the Amazon Prime flick Underdoggs where the Buffs HC shared screen with the legendary Snoop Dogg. The 96-minute football comedy featured Deion in a small yet powerful role. Then came the American romantic comedy-drama With This Ring, where the Buffs HC landed himself the role of Keith. In Coach Prime’s acting adventures, Draft Day featuring Chris Berman did land huge praise to Deion as it followed the storyline of GM Sonny Weaver on a mission to rebuild his team in the NFL Draft.

Not only is Shilo lucky to have Deion as his father, but his mother, Pilar Sanders, is also established in her own field. Pilar has excelled in her modeling stints since her senior year in high school, which in turn landed her opportunities in acting in popular movies such as Mod Squad, Streets of Blood, and Percentages.
Shilo took notes from both his parents and got a huge breakthrough, featuring in the Google commercial. His acting skills reached the right people, the real-life characters of the Big Mafia Family, Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who chose Shilo as the ideal fit for the role.
