Shilo Sanders & Co. are definitely enjoying the spotlight before the NFL draft madness kicks in.

While the Buffaloes quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, is hogging all the headlines as a potential top pick, the team’s safety Shilo is quietly making waves.

On August 6, the Sanders brothers got together for a chat on Shedeur’s YouTube channel, and naturally, the NFL draft came up. You know, just casual brotherly talk. Shedeur got a little sentimental, saying, “This could be your last year on the same team, bro,” looking at Shilo. Then they turned to their older brother, Deion Sanders Jr., for draft predictions.

Deion Jr. started with a chill vibe, saying, “I don’t really care…it’s just a blessing you guys are in the league.” But Shilo believes he’ll land with Vegas while his QB brother will go to Dallas. Now, Deion Jr. couldn’t resist throwing in his two cents. “I think it’ll probably be the opposite,” he said. “Shedeur to Vegas, you to Dallas.” 

Shilo was curious why, and Deion Jr. broke it down: draft order. Everyone knows Shedeur’s a top pick, but Shilo’s spot is still up in the air. So, “Vegas will have a earlier pick and Dallas will have a later pick,” Deion Jr. said, throwing a subtle shade at Shilo. 

But Shilo wasn’t just going to sit there idle. He dropped a bomb, blocking just one team from his QB brother’s destination. “Miami… you need to stay up out of Miami,” he said. And Shedeur played it cool, saying, “Well I ain’t tripping either way bro. I just bring Miami to be bro. You know we have the palm trees.” It looks like Miami’s off the table for both brothers.

For now, it seems all fun and games, But the reality of the NFL draft is looming! 

Shilo Sanders and Shedeur’s NFL destination

The Big 12 season is almost here, and the Sanders brothers’ college football days are about to flash by. All eyes have been on quarterback Shedeur Sanders as a potential top pick in the NFL draft. His dad, Coach Prime, even thinks Shedeur could be picky about his team like Eli Manning was.

Most people, including Shedeur’s brother Deion Jr., think Shedeur will end up with the Las Vegas Raiders. And Coach Prime even hinted at it, saying, “That would be nice.” But he also wants the Raiders to improve, not get a worse record to get a higher draft pick. “I don’t want him [Antonio Pierce] to lose to the point where he has the ability to get Shedeur, let’s get that straight. I don’t want that to happen, I really don’t,” he added. 

While Shedeur is getting all the hype, his brother Shilo, the safety, is flying under the radar. He had a tremendous first season with the Buffaloes, but he’s not getting the same draft buzz. Last month, a fan video tried to boost Shilo’s stock, saying, “Shilo can go first round….He’s going to have to be one of the most disruptive safeties in the country to put his name up there.” However, early mock drafts have snubbed him! 

It would be cool if both Sanders brothers ended up on the same team, but we’ll have to wait a few months to see how it all plays out.
