Houston Texans safeties coach Stephen Adegoke has made a headline-grabbing decision leaving Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines in a bind. In an attempt to follow Deion Sanders’ attempt to bring in NFL talent into Buffs, Moore had offered Adegoke, the position of secondary coach.
There had been a lot of speculation about his next move but it looks like Adegoke has opted to remain with the AFC South champions and chose to pivot and return to the Texans. With back-to-back coaches leaving the Wolverines after Jim Harbaugh’s exit, Moore’s failure to bring in Adegoke came as yet another setback for Michigan.

Applying the tactics retained from Adegoke, the safeties duo made an impressive run to the AFC South division title followed by a playoff victory.
His coaching experience has been diverse at the collegiate level spreading across Florida, Mississippi Sta,te and Michigan. Beyond coaching, he has experience of playing as a defensive back which resulted in Moore getting allured to acquire him as a valuable asset.
Moore’s failed attempt to apply Sanders’ blueprint
Even though prospects seemed to be high for the safeties coach, who served at Michigan as a defensive analyst in 2021, under Jim Harbaugh, to join hands with Moore, the plan turned out to be futile. Being new to this position, there is no better person for Moore to follow, other than the Buffaloes coaching maestro Deion Sanders.
