Legends never die, and that is something the NFL world will remember today. This day will be marked in the history of college football as the fans remember Craig Roh on account of his unfortunate demise. While the fans pour in with their wishes, the Michigan Wolverines, which was the college team of Roh before his time in the NFL, make a sweet gesture to aid the family’s financial stability.
Roh was given the nickname, ‘Death Roh’, which was a clever wordplay on his ability to make a living tackling quarterbacks. He is now survived by his wife Chelsea and his 3-year-old son, Max. The family will have a tough time trying to move forward in life without Craig but has shared a GoFundMe appeal in order to sustain the costs of leftover medical expenses, funeral travel expenses, therapy, a school fund for Max, and living expenses. And in a heartwarming gesture, the Wolverines came through for the Roh family by sharing their appeal.

In a post by Chelsea, she wrote, “Craig was the most driven/disciplined person I have ever met. He gave 10000% into everything he did, including being a wonderful husband/father. I never once questioned his devotion or love for me. Craig’s faith in Jesus was unwavering for nearly all of his life and it was a sight to behold. Even though he left the world at only 33, Craig lived an amazingly full life. I’m not sure how I’m going to live the rest of my days without him, but I will put one foot in front of the other for our beautiful little boy.” The world of football expresses its condolences for the former defensive lineman and wishes for all the strength for Chelsea and little Max.
