Shedeur Sanders has spiced up Julian Lewis’ Colorado visit. Boulder is already abuzz with anticipation as their beloved JuJu has made a grand entrance on June 21. How could the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback sensation let go of this opportunity to promote his “#2 BBQ sauce?” You must be wondering what the connection is between the five-star QB and the BBQ sauce.

Boulder has dedicated itself to the JuJu fever — so much so that the favorite burger and pizza restaurant in Boulder introduced a special burger and named it “JuJu’s Precision Pass Burger” in the five-star QB’s honor. And eureka! Shedeur used this craze to promote his product.

The JuJu fever has left Boulder going crazy. It started with CU royalty Peggy Coppom and another Buff faithful, Laura Levy. It now seems that the average person has also committed themselves to the Lewis race. Can you imagine gorging into some burger on Friday night named after the QB? The people of Boulder have made it possible. The Sink, a 101-year-old burger and pizza restaurant in Boulder, garnered national attention by introducing a special burger in the five-star QB’s honor and named it “Juju’s Precision Pass Burger” on the morning of June 21. It reached Shedeur, who then came up with his master plan.

During the Lewis craze, Shedeur featured a fan’s post of them indulging in brisket. He elevated the taste of his steak by mixing it with the “#2 BBQ sauce,” a creation of the Buff QB. Now that the restaurant will push off only the “Precision Pass Burgers” from their menu, it will be an excellent opportunity to boost the sale of the BBQ sauce to be paired with the burgers. It’s uncertain if Lewis wants to try the BBQ sauce amidst Boulder’s unique culinary offerings. Whether or not he is involved, his positive remarks about Shedeur will help him.

Lewis shattered the bubble that Coach Prime had been living in. Deion Sanders’ focus on courting the five-star QB is not about himself; rather, Shedeur has taken that position. Before his third visit to Boulder, Lewis gave an interview with the 247 Sports. As a freshman playing the EA Sports’ CFB 25 game, he initially rated himself with a commendable 83 points. Later, he came across the perplexing question of which quarterback should hold the highest rating in the EA Sports CFB 25 game.

While answering this question, Lewis ensured to score big as an astute thinker. His witty reply was, “I got to see Shedeur this weekend so, I don’t wanna make him mad. I’ll play Shedeur at 1.” The PDA started even before that when the QB poured in his support for his soon-to-be successor and adorned the space with his “Legendary” comment on the post that declared his visit.

Does this mean that in case Lewis commits to Colorado Buffaloes, it will be because of Shedeur and not Deion Sanders? To be specific, neither Shedeur nor Deion Sanders deserves the credit. As Lewis has clarified, his interest lies in playing for the long game with NIL opportunities. Shedeur stands at an NIL valuation of $4.8 million. You can do your math now.
