Shedeur Sanders, being Deion Sanders’ son, follows his father step by step. However, this mantra seems to be not going in favor of the Colorado Buffaloes’ quarterback sensation. As pointed out by a former NFL scout, Shedeur must stay away from adhering to the antagonistic antics that his father once pursued. Now that the quarterback’s health is at stake, he must place his foot carefully in the path ahead of him.

Shedeur Sanders’ other name is Luxury, as the Buffs HC’s son has a love for all things lavish. But according to an ex-NFL scout as tweeted by FIRST ROUND MOCK, this love has gathered all the hate from the defenders. Due to this privilege that Shedeur received, all that defenders want is “to hit him more and drive him into the ground harder.”

Hence the one piece of advice that Shedeur receives is, “Something tells me the flexing his watch isn’t working and he needs to stop that if he wants to make it through the 2024 season.” However, it has been surprising for many since the same “antagonistic” tactics did work well for Shedeur’s father as he landed the title of “Hall of Fame” cornerback. The analyst also points out the reason for the same not working in favor of Shedeur since at present he is the“smallest person in the pocket”.

This is because of the high sack records that the quarterback brought under his name last season. “In the 40+ years I’ve been watching the game, I’ve never seen a quarterback go so far out of his way to get his ass kicked,” the former scout concluded based on his disappointing season. Meanwhile, Shedeur’s back injury just added to his overall woes.

Shedeur Sanders’ promising start fades away to injury

Last season, Shedeur missed his only game of the season with an injury. It was confirmed in one of the Well Off Media videos. In the video, the quarterback confessed how it has been difficult to move around with the injury, “It’s crazy because I feel good, bro…But when I start running for real, it’s like the idea is like, ‘Ah, I feel good,’ but realistically … you can’t. I can’t even throw right now.”

When the Buffaloes were 4-2 at the beginning of the past season, it was Shedeur who popularized the “watch flex” move. But his injuries along with 52 times getting sacked led the team to finish 4-8 in his first season, thereby putting an end to the hype that Deion Sanders’ son created for himself.

Now that Travis Hunter has beaten Shedeur Sanders in the race to get featured in the EA Sports College Football 25, Deion Sanders’ misery is far from getting over. In the meantime, the Buffs’ latest transfer Gavin Kuld too passed a brutal jab on the quarterback for his lavish lifestyle. It is now to be seen what strategy Shedeur now applies moving away from his father’s incantation to make things work in his favor.
