Shedeur Sanders‘ 2024 NFL draft dreams seem to have been quashed! In the latest piece of breaking news revealed by reporters, the QB might return to Colorado next year. Training under the guidance of his father, Deion Sanders, Shedeur looked like the real deal for the NFL this year.
However, the NFL trip seems a bit far for now. The reason is that the QB might not be the first choice for the NFL scouts. This could be because two other prospective players might earn a better NFL contract the next year.

It might be a tough pill for Shedeur Sanders and his fans. The 20-year-old isn’t going to the NFL next year, as Caleb Williams and Drake Maye will likely earn the top draw in the football league. For Shedeur, though, he’d stay at the Buffs and might aim for the Heisman Trophy.
Shedeur Sanders is reportedly thought to have “no shot” at entering the 2024 NFL Draft by many NFL scouts.
Several NFL scouts also reportedly believe Sanders would be the “No.3 QB” behind Caleb Williams and Drake Maye if he entered this year.

With the shattering news coming in earlier today, it’s in the best interest of the young player. The QB had a terrific season on the offense, with 27 touchdowns and close to 3,500 rushing yards. These stunning stats might be enough to head for the NFL drafts. However, it’s not the case for No. 2 Buffs players.
Another compelling reason to stick around with the Buffs could be Coach Prime’s effect. Deion Sanders stated in November that the player should look for a 2025 NFL draft. In a recent interview with USA Today, Sanders stressed the same.

Sanders stated: “I would think so. They’re my sons. I would pray so… We do things as a family, and my sons respect the heck out of me and my decision-making and getting them to where they desire to go.” Prime Time assured the reporters that the decision was made together as a family.
Now, coming on to the QB NFL conundrum, Sanders is the third-overall pick. This could hugely impact the player’s chances of getting a good deal since he’d be least favored. Staying back at the Boulder could mean adding more touchdowns and yards to his name. Moreover, the new collegiate season could also allow for a better offensive line and, hence, better dividends for the youngster.

Another plausible reason for staying with his father could be that Shedeur already has a multi-million NIL evaluation. While money is huge in the NFL, it isn’t the deciding factor for a young QB, as he already has many endorsements.
