Now that the Colorado Buffaloes football program concluded the spring season with a fantastic performance, fans have been eagerly waiting for the Pac-12 Track and Field Championships to start. The wait is finally over as it started on Friday, May 10.
More than the conference championship making a comeback at Potts Field after 16 years what is interesting is Shedeur Sanders taking up space in Bruce’s Instagram story. However, the track star chose a unique way and added his special touch to draw Shedeur’s attention.
Bruce soars high in Pac-12

A psychology major, Bruce did leave an impact on the track field as well. Previously known for her impact in seven different events, her personal best has been 3755 in the pentathlon. However, the Colorado heptathlete has arrived again with another new record. Coach Linsey Malone praised Bruce for her feat on Instagram with the caption, “Congrats Eva Bruce on your new outdoor PR in the long jump!! 5.62m for 18’5.25”!!” After her electrifying performance on the track field, the heptathlete chose to endorse herself.

On her Instagram story, Bruce posted a well-curated picture of herself. The poster reads “PERSONAL BEST” in yellow letters. Showing Bruce in all smiles, what immediately draws attention is that the track star chose to tag Shedeur and also added his song, “Perfect Timing”. The story was then shared by Shedeur which shows him being impressed by Bruce’s latest accolade.
Bruce’s celebration catches Shedeur’s attention
Most Buffs fans have been simping on Shedeur’s rap debut “Perfect Timing”. A part of the lyrics reads, “These n***a can’t f*ck with me / Yeah, they lyin’ / I ain’t even hit my peak, I ain’t tryin’ / 100k for a signing / What that pay? A n***a got reminded (one mo’ time) / In yo city, know we litty every time.” Maybe this was the mood that Bruce was in particularly after the results came on Saturday, May 11.

The Pac-12 Conference outdoor track and field championships, found Bruce from Colorado making 4,913 in the women’s category. With this, the heptathlete picked up a point for the Buffs in the team standings by finishing eighth in the heptathlon. Bruce has been part of the hype, for quite a long time now. She set a personal record in the 200m prelim earlier in the day with a time of 25.52 on day one of the Ralph Lindeman Classic on January 19 which took place at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
