Shedeur Sanders is earning high praise from his Colorado staffers, and it’s no surprise for the nation’s top quarterback. But this time, it’s not just about him being the best; it’s about leading his team to an outstanding season in his final CFB year.

Now, the Buffs’ offense is looking stronger than before, and they’re all set to erase last year’s 4-8 record. Their fall practice sessions and the coaches’s excitement say it all.

On August 7th, Buffs graduate assistant Warren Sapp shared his enthusiasm on “Thee Pregame Show Network,” raving about the team’s new offensive and defensive lines. Speaking to host Uncle Neely, Sapp said, “We can control the line of scrimmage with our offensive line and we can dominate with our defensive line.” He also added, “Shedeur is going to be in real good shape to drive us up and down this field and get us a fourth-quarter lead. And then we’re going to turn the dogs loose.”

Uncle Neely was just as excited, saying, “If I’m on the O-line of Colorado right now, I’m not going to see another guy this season better than the guy I’m seeing at practice.” Now, this confidence is shared throughout the Buffaloes’ camp. They’ve brought in a dozen new scholarship O-linemen, most of whom are 6’5” tall and 300 lbs, forming a massive wall of protection for Shedeur. Their receivers’ room also looks great, with Travis Hunter and LaJohntay Wester, along with running backs like Charlie Offerdahl, who stand ready to make big plays.

With this revamped lineup, there’s no more 52-sack season for Shedeur and no more 8-loss season for the Buffaloes. Looks like Shedeur Sanders’ 2025 draft stock is about to skyrocket soon!

Shedeur Sanders is soaring high

Shedeur Sanders pushing his team to their best won’t just help in having a winning season. It will also skyrocket the draft stock of the Buffaloes’ star quarterback, who is entering the NFL next year. Despite coming from a losing team, Shedeur is making waves as the top contender for every honor this 2024 season.

Two weeks ago, it was announced that Shedeur Sanders is on the Maxwell Award watchlist with 79 other names. Just this week, he was named as a preseason All-American honorable mention quarterback. And let’s not forget that last season was a nightmare for Shedeur. He was the most-sacked QB in the nation and had to recover from several injuries. However, he still set the school record for passing yardage in a season with 3,230 yards and has a pass completion percentage of 69.3%.

If Shedeur can maintain his strength and passing accuracy this season, we might see him as a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Analyst Gary Barnett echoed this sentiment last month, saying, “Shedeur is a special player.” He added, “He [Shedeur] always carries himself really well, during the game and after the game. I think he’s a top-10 pick in the draft and one of the top-4 or 5 QBs in the country next year.” Now, the QB has already been named EA Sports’ No. 1 quarterback in college football this year. Can you imagine how crazy things will get if he leads his team to a winning season?
