Putting forward a weakness might be considered a courageous move, however, is it always the best choice for the bigger game plan, especially the future of the team? Or is it a giveaway to your opponents and the rest of the world? This was the primary question that NFL veteran Tank Johnson raised when speaking of the CU QB Shedeur Sanders. In his recent interview, Sanders talked about many things that made waves. One of them was about his team’s weakness. “Like I never blame anything on the linemen because it’s just always something I could have done better but the indecisiveness on knowing what they’re going to do because of the that that just wasn’t my style of play,” confessed Shedeur Sanders in an interview. The words evoked a rather commonsensical rebuke.

In the Coach JB Show with Big Smitty, Johnson believed that Shedeur Sanders is just ‘he’s kind of diagnosing the problem to the world’. “He’s just telling Colorado’s problems to the world and I don’t even think he understands that,” Johnson chided. The problem originated in the players not being able to make proper play calls on gridiron. Johnson pinpointed the mistakes that emerge from the lack of repetition or practice. “These guys want to get it automatically,” he admitted.

Sheduer Sanders was the most sacked player in the nation, 56 times, in the last season. The CU Buffs offense was at gunpoint for it, as the two-way star player Travis Hunter was repeatedly failing to protect Shedeur Sanders. Moreover, safeties like Shilo Sanders also failed at their jobs. However, presenting these problems to the world on a platter, albeit unknowingly, is something that Johnson berated Shedeur Sanders for. Well, these kinds of fumbles would be even more harshly judged when Sheduer Sanders entered the NFL draft in 2025.

Several reports claim that Sheduer Sanders would claim first and second spots in the 2025 NFL draft. Seems that Deion Sanders is positive with the prediction as he said, “Did I say that we may have the first and second pick of next year’s NFL draft?” flexing the in-vouge-ness of his sons. While Sanders enjoys his flaunting, the whole of the NFL awaits the team that would land Shedeur Sanders.
