Shedeur Sanders recently caught up with retired NFL MVP on his YouTube channel 4th & 1 with Cam Newton to talk about his life as Coach Prime’s son. He vividly recalled an incident where Deion Sanders moved them across the town from a rich house to a more humble dwelling. He said, “I remember when I was in that position. I never forget that. Nobody else can relate to that because they ain’t lived my life.”
Growing up in a nice big 25,000 sq ft house with its own football field, arcade, basketball court and leaving all those to move to a more modest house can leave a scar of loss on anyone. That’s what Deion Sanders did to impart a humbling experience to his kids. And one of the things that this college football sensation learned from his father is that, “Nobody is going to be real with you.
