The summer training had Deion Sanders’ offensive line sweating it off. The big goal is to be the ultimate protective shield for Shedeur Sanders and keep the quarterback out of harm’s way. With ESPN’s FPI suggesting a potential rank boost, the Colorado Buffaloes offense is making every effort to become the strongest. Courtesy goes to the Buffs’ assistant strength and conditioning coach, Rendrick Taylor for keeping the players at the edge and bringing out their best potential.

Deion Sanders is not far behind as far as creativity in training practices is concerned. He had asked the US Marine Corps for help in training the Buffs earlier this year; this time, the training sessions shifted to the waters as the Navy got involved.

Buffaloes engage in strength training to provide Shedeur with full protection

The Buffaloes’ offensive line allowed a record 56 sacks last season, and who had to bear the tag of the most sacked player? Of course, Shedeur. However, this year the Buffalos will ensure to take care of all the loopholes that landed them in a disastrous position last season. The prep has already started with coach Taylor at the helm. His “Combo and skill I need one each… trenches combo” is no less than a battle cry. The players huddle up for action as soon as Taylor finishes his commands.

The offensive line divided themselves into two groups of three players each as they took part in a tug of war. Even though the charge of Colorado’s offensive line, Phil Loadholt, is not spotted during the strength training, he is excited to see the new offensive line in play. At the top of the list of newcomers are five-star recruits Jordan Seaton, Tyler Johnson, and Justin Mayers, among others, who will be safeguarding Shedeur’s honor. Hence, Deion Sanders’ program has also tried water as their training medium besides on-field practice.

Deion Sanders’ roster builds speed and agility by sprinting across the pool

To prepare for Black and Gold Day, Coach Prime sought the help of the US Marine Corps to enhance the spring practice. The result has been a huge success, with the team yielding just one sack. Drawing inspiration from the marine training, Deion Sanders has come up with a different plan this time.

To ensure that the Buffs are ready for the physical and mental grind, Coach Prime turned to Navy SEAL water training. As Well Off Media recorded, the Buffs roster had to go through rigorous water training exercises, including swimming across the pool while holding heavy backpacks, holding their breath underwater, and multiple swimming sprints across the pool. With only a few months until the season kicks in, the Buffs head coach plans to complete this comprehensive military-style training.

As Deion Sanders strengthens the offensive line through the transfer portal, he holds high hopes for the training to have a positive impact on protecting his often-hit quarterback son, Shedeur. Not only players, but he has also swapped his interest from coach Sean Lewis to Pat Shurmur to ensure a safe zone for Shedeur.
