Shedeur Sanders had a plan with NBA Shooting Coach, Chris Matthews exclusively. However, little did he know that the Buffaloes’ O-Line had a different game plan. The seemingly routine encounter filled with words of encouragement soon took an unexpected turn.

The surprise appearance of Kahlil Benson and Jordan Seaton turned the locker room into a comedy of chaos, that left the Buffaloes quarterback lose his temper. Earlier too, Benson came forward with a direct take on another Buff player. 

Shedeur exposed to an unexpected interruption

In their latest meeting, there has been a seamless blend between basketball and football. As Shedeur engages in further conversation after Matthews expressed his admiration for the quarterback, How you been? Love what you doing. How you been feeling though?” Shedeur then mentioned the presence and support of his “big boys”, Benson and Seaton. However, as soon as he mentioned the Buffs’ offensive line, the players barged in. After getting exasperated with their move, Shedeur exclaimed, “Goddamn. Why you…the video?”

The act performed by Benson and Sanders with the motive of irritating Shedeur and the quarterback’s reaction that followed captured the camaraderie that the players share with the Colorado squad. The players’ actions suggested how they playfully tried to shift the focus from Shedeur to them. Besides this, there have been many instances when the competitive spirit within the Buffaloes’ players came to light.

The Buffaloes’ YouTube channel, “Well Off Media”, never misses a chance to capture the behind-the-scenes proceedings of the program. Similarly, a month back they captured how the competitive spirit that reigns through the team is different from other years. Credit goes to Deion Sanders’ latest recruits to bolster the offensive line, Benson and Seaton.

Providing fans with an inside look at the spirited banter, the clip captured a healthy exchange between 6’6’’ junior Benson who openly challenged seasoned player, David Conner. The highlight from the mock-up confrontation went with Benson confronting Conner confidently stating, “I’m here to take yo spot, you been here.”

Despite sitting out the last season, Benson is all geared up for action this time around. The interplay of experience like that of Conner and Shedeur with the entry of raw talent like Benson and Seaton, promises to create a dynamic atmosphere for the Buffaloes. With time rolling in for the upcoming season, it exposes how beyond varying levels of experience, the bond that the Buffs players share remains rock solid.
