Shedeur Sanders is now a senior and making good use of it. As a senior at CU Buffs and one of the best QBs across college football, it is his responsibility to familiarize the recruits and transfers with the ways of Colorado. Safe to say, he is influencing the new ones quite expensively. When Deion Sanders took his team on a vacation in Colorado for team bonding activities, Shedeur Sanders surprised his teammates and fans with his new purchase, a $241,000 Lamborghini Urus.
Now it seems that the transfers are following suit with Sanders as their ideal, especially the supercar fanatics. Khalil Benson, a transfer from Indiana, is already making headlines before even stepping his foot on the field as a Buffs even once, as he makes a shiny new purchase of a lavish $72,000 Hellcat. Now that the OL has followed in the footsteps of the accolade-leading QB Shedeur Sanders, fans can also expect him to do the same on-field, as the team is extensively preparing their freshly signed prodigy for the upcoming season.

Being 6-foot-6, 310-pound, Benson brings some much-required experience to the Buffs table. During his junior year, the OL played all 12 games, while allowing only one sack with almost 800 snaps. These impressive records come after he faced a massive setback in his freshman year, missing the 2020 season because of a torn ACL. In 2020, when he committed to Indiana as a three-star recruit from Southaven, Mississippi, he was ranked in the top 50 offensive guards nationally.
Benson will prove to be a huge support for CU this season, as along with Benson they also have Houston’s Tyler Johnson, UConn’s Yakiri Walker, NC State’s WR Terrell Timmons Jr, and UTEP’s Justin Mayers joining him in the offensive line department. The force will be coached under Buffs offensive line coach Phil Loadholt, as having a good offense is the basic that the Buffs are focusing on perfecting this season.

Why do the Buffs need a better offense?
Last season, along with amassing several other accolades, Sheduer Sanders also broke the record for being the most sacked QB this season with his 56 sacks. This led to Shedeur being injured for many games, yet playing in it, leading to some inevitable fumbles, costing the Buffs their whole season.

Commendably, despite several injuries, Sanders only missed their final game against Utah and did not miss a single one except it. Hence, this season, it becomes a top priority for Buffs to build a bulletproof group protecting Shedeur Sanders.
