The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback sensation, Shedeur Sanders, has cracked the code to keep the players’ roster attention hooked. The ultimate time for which the players have been eagerly waiting for so long has arrived: the spring transfer portal. To make the Colorado players heavily involved in the portal, Shedeur has raised an alarm on X.

Coach Prime’s son’s action garnered the attention of Colorado’s Assistant Director of Player Personnel, Devin Ripress. From Colorado’s coaches to the Buffs players, this spring portal will have a crucial impact on Coach Prime’s squad.

As college football enters a very important chapter, the transfer portal, Shedeur ensured that he would give a reminder to his teammates. The Buffs quarterback made a tweet where he said, “Portal opens soon let’s get busy.” However, the tweet immediately caught Ripress’ attention, who then re-tweeted it with the caption, “The best Qb in the country has spoken #SkoBuffs”

Apart from Coach Prime, the other coaches of the Buffs family, too, are confident about Shedeur being the best quarterback. Shedeur has amassed 30 touchdowns and three interceptions and according to Coach Prime, “He’s established himself as pretty good being sacked a hundred times.”

Last season saw Shedeur getting intercepted just three times while recording 3,270 yards and 27 touchdowns. For the Buffaloes, the last season ended with disappointing results. Because of this, Coach Prime’s Buffaloes are looking forward to the 15-day spring portal.

Buffaloes path ahead with the portal

It is the final call for the Buffaloes players to make themselves and their talents seen in a broader landscape. Although the spring window is supposed to be calmer, it will be hectic for Colorado. The first CU player to leave for the transfer portal is Chazz Wallace, the Buffs defensive lineman. Besides, the 15-day spring transfer portal window for undergraduates will also witness safety Jaden Milliner-Jones and offensive linemen Isaiah Jatta and Savion Washington putting themselves up in the portal.

On the other hand, the Buffaloes have everything planned up on how to benefit from the spring transfer portal. Colorado linebackers coach Andre Hart revealed, “We have been looking (at the transfer portal) and we have some guys kind of figured out that we’d like to go after if that’s the case.” Buffaloes ‘ offensive and defensive line and linebackers are the most likely positions to see additions in the upcoming transfer portal.

While Deion Sanders’ squad lost a few players to transfer portal, including defensive back Jaden Milliner-Jones and offensive tackle Savion Washington, the Buffaloes have their eyes set on whom they want to take from the portal. Now, it is to be seen how Shedeur Sanders’ team succeeds in the balancing game of filling positions.
