Shedeur’s got Julian Lewis in his sights like a hawk. Keeping track of every move that the USC five-star QB makes, for Deion Sanders’ son 247 Sports’ latest report appears oddball. The rankings that came up on July 11 did not favor the USC Trojans QB, whose position is predicted to sink. But hold on! When Shedeur’s around, it’s like winning for Lewis.
Dropping a cryptic post, the Buffs QB keeps the Colorado’s JuJu dream alive. Even though the Trojans QB witnesses a dip in the 247 rankings, he scores big by securing a gigantic NIL deal.

The latest ranking of 247 Sports threw a shade at Lewis. The USC QB commit’s five-star status dropped to being a four-star prospect. The drop in rating comes after off-season skills camps. But in ‘JuJu’s case, it might be because of his reclassification to the 2025 class from his original 2026 graduation date. Whatever the reason might be, it did not sit well with Shedeur. And how did he voice his revolt? He simply picked up his phone to re-share a tweet that said, “Hold up 247 just drop JuJu 30 spots. That’s crazy”. Instead of saying it directly, Shedeur added a cryptic touch. The QB was confident about ‘JuJu’ and dismissed the claim in the caption, “Y’all know what it is lol”.

Deion Sanders and the Buffs poured in their blood, sweat, and tears to make their ‘JuJu’ dream come true. Gonna hand it to Lewis for being one of the most fortunate to have Shedeur’s back, even after he dropped ranks. To be specific, Lewis went from being the No. 16 overall prospect and the No. 3 quarterback with a 98 rating to being rated as the No. 46 overall prospect and the No. 7 quarterback with a 94 rating. But even then the Pro Day champion of the Elite 11 competition is scoring it big in the NIL front.

Lewis became the center of attention in Boulder. So much so that Deion cooked up something unique for their favorite ‘JuJu’. Can you imagine that the Colorado’s 100-year-old diner named one of their burgers, ‘JuJu’s Precision Pass Burger? It’s not known whether the idea influenced others. But what’s known is that the Trojans QB hooked interest of the $2.9 million sportswear giant, Under Armor. On July 10, the player made it official by posting on X, “Blessed #KeepWorking @UnderArmour #BackToSchool @TheUCReport @UANextFootball”.

The Carlton High School recruit is the best suited for the brand’s “#BackToSchool” campaign. Lewis definitely looks dapper sporting the cargo pants and sweatshirt and makes the outfit stand out, even though there lacks a dominant play of bright tones.
Bagging big deals is practically his side hustle. Earlier, Lewis got lucky to have inked a deal with a $10 billion brand, Alo Yoga. With this, ‘JuJu’ became the inaugural high school recruit on the brand’s roster. Now that he will be filling Shedeur’s position soon, there’s not much to worry about Lewis, as he has gone full throttle on the NIL deals.
