The Colorado prodigy has had a strenuous past few weeks amid all the excitement that surrounds him for next season. Ranging from social media beef to dramatically reduced NFL draft stock, Shedeur has been seeing it all. But as per a recent video, it is all safe and sound for him in Boulder as he is loved by the kids in the CU youth camp, that too, quite aggressively.

Shedeur Sanders, the QB for the Colorado Buffaloes, was the spine behind the team’s minuscule 4-win record. Despite not being able to make it to the playoffs, Shedeur demonstrated extreme zeal and valor when he became the nation’s most-sacked quarterback (52 times) last season. Now, as the Colorado Buffaloes prepare long and hard, all eyes and hopes will be on him, making him the messiah to the young players who look up to him. But when he appeared in front of them, they ended up treating the star QB like a ragdoll instead of it being an endearing moment.

Shedeur Sanders gets bullied by the young kids in Boulder camp

On June 12, Sheder Sanders released a video on his official YouTube account during which he was seen meeting the players at the Colorado Buffalo youth camp, where the next big stars of the Buffs are being curated. Though the QB walked into the pitch expecting a wholesome interaction, the kids on the green showed him who the boss was shortly after.

In the video, Shedeur was surrounded by kids who were pressuring him into giving out photos and asking him questions about where his watch was. Next, the kids snatched his hat and ran away with it, only to return it after everyone was done wearing it once. While Shedeur tried to escape the circle of chaos, kids from another group surrounded him yet again in an attempt to take pictures. One kid even went far enough to funnily ask, “Hey Shedeur, can you follow my Instagram?” Safe to say, the Colorado star couldn’t have anticipated this sort of sass from the kids, and neither could we but it’s fun to see the mighty Shedeur falling prey to players half his size.

What’s also interesting to note is that the CU youth camp was started only 2 days ago, to encourage talent within the kids and hopefully, see them as generational football players someday.

The CU youth camp initiative that has been started by Deion Sanders

Before Deion was a big-time coach at the Colorado Buffaloes and even the Jacksonville Jaguars, he used to train children aged from 9 to 12 in his Prime Prep Academy and a nonprofit organization Truth Football. This began in 2011, along with his then-wife, Pilar Sanders, and had the aim of “reaching and teaching our youth through sports and education.”

Fortunately for the kids and their parents, Coach Prime is bringing that same program to CU as well. As per reports from the Colorado staff, the line of registration is filled to the very brim, which shows the enthusiasm of the parents and the trust that they have for Coach Prime and his capabilities. Thus, who knows, maybe the next Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter might just stem from this batch of young kids that Deion wants to cater to and water every day, in the hopes of making them exceptional athletes.
